HOLLYWOOD,
Calif., July 28, 2000 -- Stickyflicks
Studios, Inc., a new creator of original animated Internet entertainment
has launched www.stickyflicks.com.
Founded in February by David Burke and Eli Balser, two seasoned animation
professionals, Stickyflicks shows run the gamut of genres, from goofy
cartoons to crazy games to some upcoming exciting and occasionally sexy
action-adventures.
Burke,
a writer with seventeen years of experience creating and selling original
television series, and Balser, a skilled cartoon artist and Flash animator,
have assembled a team of top animation talent, which includes character
artist Bill Schwab ("Beavis and Butthead"), Animation Director Kelly
Armstrong ("Ren & Stimpy"), and Creator/Storyboarder Greg Emison ("Cow
& Chicken"), among others.
"People ask us how we're different," said David Burke,
Co-Founder, President and Creative Director of Stickyflicks. "For
one, just about all of our content is created in-house by our own writers
and animators who have found a place where they can express their character
designs, their story ideas, and whatever else they want to get off their
nasty little minds -- within certain legal limits of course.

"Also, a lot
of our content is irreverent, some downright tasteless, but unlike some
companies in this space, we draw the line at being mean-spirited."
"Also," added Eli Balser, Co-Founder and Senior Vice President
of Operations of Stickyflicks, "in order to get the highest quality
look for our shows we use full, traditional style animation techniques
and then convert the files into Flash -- simply as a means of compression
-- whereas many, if not most, seem to use Flash animation to cut animation
corners."
Stickyflicks' First Four Original Animated Series and the First Stickyflicks
Game:
"VI & MARGE"
A gender-bending tribute to sexual innuendo, and the brave men and
women of cross-country trucking. In episode one "The Truck Stops Here,"
awkward lovebirds Vi & Marge drive their 18 wheeler to the Grissle Stop
Diner where Marge -- a big gal -- stuns the locals by ordering the "Whole
Hog." Only her nemesis, Wide Load Willy, had ever successfully "et"
the whole hog. This episode is part one of a three-part story.
NOTE: VI & MARGE -- Episode #2, "The Truck Stops Where?" will
be released Friday, August 18th.
"TASTELESS JOKE
THEATER"
Tasteless jokes performed by a repertory troupe of cartoon losers.
In joke one, "Technogeek," a nerdy inventor tempts fate when he enters
a seedy bar and starts talking into his hand, into which, he insists,
he inserted a phone. One can only guess where he "inserted" his other
gizmos.
NOTE: Joke #2 "Hell Ain't So Bad," will be released on Friday,
July 28th .

"JARNAK" -- THE
JIVE-ASS JERK FROM JUPITER"
Amazing transmissions from Jupiter. Not for the squeamish or feint
of heart.
NOTE: JARNAK Transmission #2, will be released on Wednesday,
August 2nd. Each Wednesday thereafter a new Jarnak transmission will
be released.
"MR. PANTS"
Pathetic schnook + sadistic writer ... you get the picture. In
episode one, "Love Hurts," Our hero decides to end it all only to find
true love in an unlikely place.
"ROCK'EM SOCK'EM RABBIS" -- Game # 1
Hold on to your yarmulkes. In this simple Shockwave fighting game,
players control robot rabbis as they beat the gefilte fish out of each
other. Bagel power-ups, dill pickle power bars. Oy vay, what fun! You
shouldn't know from it.
NOTE: Debuting Friday, August 4th.
Stickyflicks will create and produce up to twenty-four new and original
properties annually -- releasing one episode per week by the end of
August. Some of the upcoming new productions include "Young Dictators
In Love," in which a young, fastidious Hitler shares a swingin' bachelor
pad in 1920's Vienna, with a headstrong, annoyingly disorderly young
Mussolini. In the second Stickyflicks' game, "Weird Alien Genitals,"
players first must pick an alien's correct mate. Then, in level 2, they
have to select the correct genitals. Sound easy? Wrong. Just like here
on Earth, it's harder than it sounds.
